Mother's Day 2008

For Mother's Day this year I woke up to this already on the kitchen table prepared by my three lovely children. This is the first year that the have ever done anything by themselves for me. I was shocked that the had thought to do something like this for me. The had each made me their favorite thing for breakfast: Karson- strawberriers, Zachary - waffles, and Andrew- a granola bar. They had even set their gifts that they made at school all around the plate. After church Jamie took the kids shopping while I took a 3 hour nap. He and the kids then cooked me dinner and cleaned up the kitchen. I am such a lucky mother!!!

Hollywild Zoo

On April 13th all of the two year old classes from my school went to Hollywild Zoo. Zachary also went with me because I wouldn't have time to come back and get him. It had been very warm the week before and of course the day we have our field trip scheduled is the coldest day in several weeks. It was about 55 degrees outside and rainy. We still had a great time. Our favorite thing about Hollywild Zoo always is the Safari Ride. You get to feed animals while riding on this big bus. We say deer, cow, and horses. We also went to an educational thing we the kids got to pet a turtle and a snake. We then had a snack or lunch and went home right before it started raining again.
